Heard some senior men in our office here in Manchester that part of this new agreement is that Royal mail will do away with giving you 34 week plus pilion payments meaning they will retire you medically with nothing cwu need to tell us as members

The wording in the agreement is at best vague with no really examples which part of ill health/ redundancy payments are affected

Every agreement from the Way Forward (2000) has been vague to a lesser or greater degree. This one is clearer than the AFG and 2010, but vaguer than the Flexibility one.
