what is the official line regarding working to your time,,,,managers come up with various answers from saying the iwt says i should finish in time...if i take it i have to deliver it,,, and several other scenarios

Advise them as soon as you think you will not complete and ask them how they would like to deal with it? It's up to them, the usual options are to either only take out enough work to meet your finish time or take it all out and bring back what you can't manage. Let the decide then they can't hold it against you! :wink:

The indoor work tool is for planning purposes only, not to judge your performance.
It also doesn’t take into account your true call rate, they use the mech rate and divide it and mulply etc to come up with some BS number. And it also doesn’t account for any mail being late blah blah.
Threaten a b and h complaint and make sure you have witnesses in future
