What's Royal Mail's policy on second jobs?

Part Time pay doesn't fix the roof on this hut nor does it by me a house for the wife and kids.

I would imagine your ok as long as your not out delivering leaflets or going over driving allowance

Yea but:

1. You don't get a funky polo to wear doing that

2. It takes 10 hours to bang out 2000 leaflets

3. Leafleting ain't never going to pay £42k a year

1. Old postman round the corner, his house is now £650k. Old Window cleaner next door to him, his house is £650k. I want a house. How many walks you think im going to have to take out to get one of those?

2. They won't let me work RM in my Leave. I'm thinking of getting my PTS card and working on the tracks.

Worth 650K now two years 25k who knows it's a market but if you do other work and drive for RM should declare it other than that it's your bis!

In our office we sign a form every year saying if we do other work, as long as you declare it you should be ok. If it’s a driving job and you drive for Royal Mail make sure you don’t go over driving hours.

You can't do leaflets unless its just standing in the street and having people ignore you. Delivering leaflets to Houses put you in direct competition with Royal Mail.
