......its down to the finishing times for me , what with the school runs etc , finding out what these are will be the deal breaker .Hopefully as quoted on forums on here 1023 offices will remain unaffected...fingers crossed that will include the one I work at

I'm sure that the vast majority of delivery staff will probably work in unaffected DOs, probably currently with official finishing times of 1.30-2.00, and will vote without consideration of finishing times. Based upon the comments on a number of threads, I think most will vote to accept. Those of us already working until 3.00 are likely to be in a minority and those whose finishing times will be pushed even further back (my DOM has wanted to impose 3.30 on us for at least 2 years) and cause big problems with "family friendly" arrangements which were supposed to be addressed when we went to P&L seven years ago and weren't.

There are plenty of people in my DO with small children, including a couple who are in their 40's and both have 20 years service under their belts and seriously worried about their future with the company. A 3.00 finish just about allows them to pick up their children from school, a 3.30 finish doesn't.

If you are looking in Ralph, the agreement does not say that the guarantees have been extended to 2022. Royal Mail state that they may review them in 2020 for a further 2 years subject to certain criteria/growth being achieved from this agreement.

how can any office remain unaffected if our start times will change?

can you do the same and increasing amount of work in less time?

For each hour of SWW DOs will start another twelve minutes later per day. This is in addition to any additional time from the LAT. Also I agree not many have realised that the work done in the SWW hours will still be there for you to do. Mail volumes are not dropping that much and parcel volumes will increase year on year.

It said last letter 15:30 for some Do's so you can add another 20mins to that for conveyancing and pouch off some people will be looking at a four o'clock finish on a Saturday

I don't understand how loads of people keep citing "i need to pick the kids up from school" as a reason, what does everybody else in the working population do who commonly work 9-5 jobs?
