Yes, I understand one of the LMs moved up recently from there. He's up here after management did one of their own in a few months ago

I think most of this is pinned on the DOM who has a truckload of grievances to his name - this has been a long time coming.

Don't know when the walkout began, but it had been in progress for a few hours when I arrived at 9am (local journalists on scene). Union reps came out with the proposal that if we returned to work immediately that management would review the issue at hand first thing on Tuesday. This was rebuffed and no other offer was made. We then downed tools for the day just before 10am.
