Can someone clarify the following:
1 Once you are off sick for 6 months you go on to half pay.
2 You're then entitled to statutory sick pay in addition to half pay
3 How do you claim ssp , do you claim yourself or is it automatically paid by Royal Mail who then claim it back off the government?
4 Once you've had a total of 12 months sick pay you're no longer entitled to any and can only get ssp?
5 if question 4 is correct what are the guidelines for qualifying for any sick pay again?
I read somewhere that you're allowed 1 year in 4 years , therefore does that mean after a year off you'd need to work 3 years before becoming entitled to sick pay again?

If in the RM pension scheme you may get sick pay at pension rate.Contact HR.
Also if applicable you could also get a tax credit adjustment, less pay per week = more credits.
