All i know is that you should always work from the back of the van and always lock the door when you leave the van.
Do not break the speed limit and never cut corners use common sense and you could hang out any delivery even mine!

one of our lads was tested few weeks ago a normal 5 1/2 delivery took nearly 9 it was fuc kin funny i wasnt there to see the doms face when he got back in the pitch dark
"from the back of the van" - does that mean out of the back for each time you stop, rather than having a pod of mail for a few dozen addresses on the passenger seat ?
yes you stop then open the locked door relock deliver move on to your next point of delivery and so on ..yes it takes for ever but you cannot and must not do it from the front of the van
goes without saying about seatbelts etc ..

Your not allowed any mail on the seat you have to have a plastic tray in the footwell with a bag covering it, also no more than 2 bundles. Good case for health and safety from bending in the footwell 350 times a day lol
sorry superman ...............but nothing is suposed to be in the front at all yes i dare say some do it but r.m rules and regulations state that the front is not for mail
absolutely right axeman,nothing in the front of vehicle comes under safeguarding the mail/mails integrity sackable offence,so not worth the risk.THEY ASKED FOR IT!
