The deal is NOW - RM have been very quiet whilst the ballot has been on but they aren't going to wait til after Xmas. How many offices have suddenly discovered that Mailsort is now DUE on Saturday when formerly it wasn't.

Have no illusions that RM have plans already afoot - the next couple of WTL will be very interesting indeed.

Don't worry about D2D and the Pension consultation these things are all in hand, RMs hand that is. The Union is now a spent force, anything that looks iffy will be a trial in a puppy office and in she comes. I always thought that four offices in each area was a big trial.

You are absolutely correct on this for this what royalmail wanted all along 10 years ago and now it has come to pass!. :shock:

Oxford city centre delivery office is ONE of the the trial office. ( starting just after X-mas). In this office about 100 deliveries and so much staff. For time being its not getting cleard so about a dozen Romanian Russian and Polish casual come in every day to take out what ever left behind in the office.

There's nothing amusing about clogs guys. When I were a lad the mill girls would be hobbling to the cotton mills where I live clackety clacking along the cobbles to clog on - as you may well know being a doyen of the morris dancing troupe that I am clogs are part and parcel of our dress code, the shorts, flowery shirts, straw hats and POLES with bells on - oh yes there's many a time I've had my bell rung after clogging it.

Ive said it once n i will again... Piano wire done the job for the Russians capturing Berlin in 45 so its good enough for the screws in 07-08

well it has started down here already the flexability bit that is we are being told that local office to us is shirly near southamptonthat is almost 33 miles away and there is nothing we can do
