I understand, that there use to be an allowance for extended travel time & cost for three years.
Does anybody know if this still applies, because our stand in union rep told us it know longer does, apart from a one off £150 payment .
Oh, and if you have van retention you get nowt

SPDO closure relocation compensation?
Yes.
Compulsory Transfer Terms are still used.
But there are rules involved. They do last for 3 years.
If you take a van home, then no, you get nothing. Why would RM pay you for extra expense when they already cover the cost of your travel?
You also only get paid for the extra mileage, as in the difference between what you currently travel and what you will have to travel.
If your new place of work is closer to your home then again you get nothing.
As far as your Rep goes, maybe they are inexperienced.
