Cwu fail.

Our office was huddled together by management today and told as of next Monday our starting times would change by 15 mins later per day. We had no notification from Cwu and no dialogue from them. RM manager has said this has been agreed at a high level between RM and Cwu.

They'll say it's been agreed but without your rep being present they're pulling a fast one. It's silly really that they even try stuff like this

It is the outcome of a stage 3 disagreement,agree with you on lack of consultation by the CWU

I believe that the amount of notice required is two weeks.

You had no notification from the CWU beacuse they don't know

If its been agreed "at a high level" then why have you been informed verbally rather than by letter.

If a Royal Mail Manager said the Union agreed the sky was blue, I'd still lean out the window and check - also to get a better signal when calling the rep.

You had no notification from the CWU

I wouldn't trust a Royal Mail manager to sit the right way round on the toilet.and those higher up even less.

Happened at our office today,union rep long term sick,assistant rep off long term and guy standing in off on annual leave this week,are management trying a fast one?What should we do?as OP said manager told us has been agreed with cwu area rep.

It was signed off by the divisional rep after a stage 3 disagreement

Yes. Ask to see the agreement.

TBT I think burghboy and Dundee are in offices near me,the issue has gone through the IR framework and has been signed off by the divisional rep after a stage 3 disagreement. The main problem is the lack of consultation with the members and I believe one member has emailed headquarters about this.

It's easy to "agree to" or "sign things" off that you are never ever going to have to do yourself....

Agree with you on that,the big issue in the offices affected is the lack of consultation by the CWU
