although any rise for these glorified posties is too much it worth noting that every detail of their pay rise is completely linked to pension reform apart from the intitial 2.5%

So no pensions no more pay, no assimulation for ML5s and no increase in bonus.

Still like i said 0.1% would have been generous for them!!

With the yearly bonus being made pensionable upto 10% and the fact that they get paid bonuses even when the business is running at a loss (their figures). No wonder Crozier and the rest are smiling and saying its a good deal on the pensions.

"dedication and resourcefulness". That's 'scabbing' to anyone with an ounce of decency.

7.3% wage rise
For public sector workers? What does Gordon prudence Brown make of that? Does he support such rises now?

Brown is embarrassed by it and other fatcat deals but he wont do anything about it he's just an intermediary between big business-the ones who really pull the strings-and the rest of us.

Common mistake, but that is the loophole that the screws can get an inflation busting payrise - now all we have to do is the square root of feck all, not get coded & ( the tricky bit ) keep our blue shirts & principles & we too can get huge pay rises.

If anyone asks "Who's going to do all the work we won't?" I have the answer to that as well - let the strike breakers do it, they like working so much they come in on strike days, then they can like picking up my slack! :dance :nana :dance :nana
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
