It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

ballot paper..

Post by L Tommo »

Got mine today and stuck a big ol NO on it..... Wot im pissed off with is the way the Ballot paper has "YOUR PEC IS BACKING THE DEAL VOTE YES ."

Now how the feck is that a fair ballot paper when on it is pushing people into a way to vote?????

I just dont see how this is correct.. If the vote was not a full gone conclusion with the 9-5 vote and 3 Of the 9 Not putting there names to the backing of the YES vote, Then its not a true reflection on the union stance.. Only 6 people who supposedly speak FOR US ALL not for there own opinions to be brandished on a ballot paper.... I dispair at this Union sometimes when people only want there points heard and not The collective.

ITS A FECKING FIT UP... FECK FAIR BALLOT WHEN THE HQ IE. BILLY N DAVE are forcing there opinions on us....

bang out of order... :so there :speak to the hand :no no :evil/mad

out :evil/mad

" YOUR PEC IS BACKING THE DEAL VOTE YES" is probably stated as the PEC believe its the best deal they can come up with. This line has appeared on many ballots over the years. To me it states "We've done our best, and a no vote we believe will achieve nothing more. Please dont slate me for this post, its just how i read that particular line. I'd enjoy a few more days strike myself in December, a ban on O/T etc etc, at least i'll be able to watch the muppets xmas special repeat......

I see your point mate but your comments on only 6 people went for it are wrong. The 3 people who did not sign the document were officers not PEC members. The PEC vote was 9-5 as you say. The officers were seperate from this.

Although all the stuff emblazoned on ballot papers is OTT it has and always will happen. In some ways the union can often be as bad if not worse than RM!

Moon mate.. I know that other ballot papers have had a line from the PEC or branch.. But With this vote so cut in two as in reality its 6-5 in favour and the other three just aint backing it but have been very slippery about the towing the party line or billy n daves party line...

I cant help feel its just wrong... So what about the 5 who dont think its a good deal and said NO....?? And the closeness of the TRUE vote Not some sham backsliding vote is No a majorty of any sorts in my book... There has been all under hand goings on in my opinion...

RM have pushed the right buttons and the PEC have split themselves in two..... RM must be larfing at us now......

w*****s... Lets see wot kind of post billy n dave get when we are just a speck in the past and RM is totally Business run and on the stock exchange???? Lord Billy of scouseland and Sir Dave of West London...????

FECK THE PAIR OF EM... But for now i want to see these two bastards out on there earhole.... :cfo :lfo

We will deal with billy bullshiter n dave dicksplash later... Time will tell....

OUT

Ha its not 6-5

it was 9-5 and the officers were on top of that!!

Officers are not PEC members and would not have voted
