Light duties after long term sick. Wallington entitlement

I have been back at work for 2 weeks following a long 11 month absence due to cancer treatment and chemotherapy, I am currently on indoor duties for approx 4 hours a day.
My normal contract is 39 hours full time on a wallington as a delivery postman in an MPU.

I have heard that I won't qualify for a full weeks wallington after 4 weeks as I won't have worked enough hours to qualify. My payslip shows 39 hours and I have been paid accordingly.

Is this correct?

That's how it works in our place, you still get your 39 hours pay but only do say 4 hours as do you, the guys generally get a day off each week, tuesday, so in effect only at work 20 hours. As soon as they return to full duty they get their rest weeks back.

On a wallington week you work extra for free to get that week off (paid)

As you are not even working your full hours you won't be working any 'free' hours to earn your week off, so this is correct you will not get a week off

Surely if you are on official reduced rehab hours, you get the same scheduled days off as your normal rota, doesn't matter if it is Wallington or something less complicated.

I see the logic but as poster above says surely there should be a day off per week (rolling or fixed),

After all the contract if for a five day week and the wallington duties work six days over 4 weeks to qualify for a full week off.

I was wondering if there is a definitive agreement I can quote on this, I have worked three weeks now 6 days with no day off.

In our office, lade on rehab, light duties work a 4 hour day for 5 days and a day off so 20 hours a week. They revert back to their week off once they return to full duties. Not sure of any agreement but the Wallington week is local agreement anyway as are all attendance patterns. Speak to your rep as you shouldn't be doing a 6 day week on rehab, you could end up getting your week off.
