holiday pay and hours worked

Can anyone enlighten me on the new law stating your holiday pay to be an average on your actual working hours and that we part time staff may get back paid for this?? True ir false thanks

I was wondering the same myself recently. It's all gone veeeeery quiet about this. I seem to remember the CWU was supposed to be keeping us updated on this? Still, I'm sure they're too busy storming the blockade at the French "Jungle Camp" to deal with member issues at present. It's all about priorities, yes?

100s of grievances have been put in about this royal mail reply that it's lawyers will be in touch etc but it's basically a fob off

RM's depot expenditure model will collapse as and when this happens, an awful lot of part timers are doing an awful lot of overtime to keep depots running relatively smoothly, some doing more than double their contract hours. Not to mention the full timers that are begged to come in on early overtime to double prep walks etc., day in day out.

Depot weekly budgets would increase overnight by 25%+, probably closer to 50% as a guess, given the ratio of PT:FT is at least 25:75 nationally.

At a time when DOMs are trying to save budgets, to keep higher management happy!
