Revision-Resign query

My unit is going through a revision with walks being replotted etc, the drives haven't changed. I've been on the same drive for the last 5 years, can I retain that drive as it hasn't changed? Being told locally,no but others say that as it hasn't changed I can retain it even though someone more senior wants it.

From what I can gather if you're round hasn't changed it does not have to go into pot sure it's in black and white on revisions rules somewhere

If the duty has not been changed in content/start/finishing time then you can opt out of the revision or put your duty into the pot on a voluntarily basis in the hope of getting a better duty than the one you have.

Bear in mind that they are "shared duties" now so if the walkers part has changed then the duty has changed,this is what I was told when I asked a similar question.

seniority is outdated prehistoric bull ive never worked in a place where people with long service get the crap like reserve and all the s**t that comes with it like not knowing your day off or no long weekends and in many cases a lot of tues off where someone who has basically just walked in the door gets a walk if someone can tell me another work place that works like this please let me know its a joke and and wrong in so many ways
