Dom taking away my leadership allowance

Hi new to forum

The office I work in I have been the office PIC for 7 years this has been paid every day where on holiday or sick. I had a letter from my DOM saying that ad hoc payment will be getting stopped on the 15th August as I no longer meet the criteria. I have a grievance out against my DOM at the moment for disability discrimination. It would seem to me this is not a ad hoc payment as I get it every week and it's not being input onto the psp as an ad hoc. So my question is can the DOM just take it away. Thanks dave

i would say no as the removal is for not fitting the "criteria" whatever this may be not because it's ad hoc. You would be entitled to know what the criteria are now and what they were for the last 7 years to identify the change and to see if training might resolve the "criteria" issue.
Once armed with this information you may want/need to take out a grievance for being financially penalized.

They take away the allowance you stop doing whatever part of the PIC job you're doing. If you're opening/locking up you hand the keys back and tell him to find someone else.

If they don't pay you for doing more than an OPG then you don't do more than an OPG.
