re-pick after revision

Post by goghorn »

we recently had a revision a walk was collapsed and we all had to absorb
it into our duties, some who were more shafted than others want a re-pick
but some whose duties are not bad don't want one. the union man who is
on a cushy number doesn't want one so he had a vote and says 68%
were in favour of no re-pick just wondering what the rules are on this as
me and a few others think we should have a re-pick after such big changes
to all deliveries. thanks.

Not certain but always thought it was based on the percentage of duties that have changed. Not sure of the figure but if over X percent of duties have altered it should trigger a repick.

re-pick after revision

It comes under the Way Forward.
Read it for specifics.

But, I believe a re-pick is warranted as a result of 'Major Change', which is approx. 30%.

Though any holders of unchanged duties have the right to remove them from the re-pick and retain them If memory serves.

re-pick after revision

IF all duties have changed then all go into the pot as part of a business driven change (Pay and Major change agreement) votes are worthless regardless of their outcome. As previously posted if duties do not change the holder has the option of removing their duty from the resign and not taking part. Any premiums currently attracted and proposed to be attracted also play a (sometimes unfavourable) part.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP
