Being forced to carry over outstanding leave.

I have signed my 6 week leave allowance but still have 6 days left.These have been accrued over a couple of years.I have been told by my manager that I cannot sign for any more leave in this current year. The reason being is that if I have signed for my 6 weeks they do not have to let me sign for the remaining days in this current year.
If that is the case I will just keep accruing extra days every year and never get to use them
Several people in my office have signed for more than 6 weeks so I an being treated unfairly.
I have just given my manager a letter with the days I want off and told him that I will be taking them even if they are refused.
I was under the impression that you cannot be forced to carry leave over.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated

ask for the days owed to be paid

Have been told they office budget can't afford to pay,I want the days off.

submit a grievance.

Your rep should be able to help.

I did put that in my letter telling them what days I would be taking.I said to allow some employees to sign for 7 weeks,but deny me my days was treating me unfairly and I might raise a grievance about it.
