CWU support of Jeremy Corbyn

Don't know if this is the correct place to post, but can I just implore the CWU to stick behind the candidate they supported previously in the Labour Leadership contest, Jeremy Corbyn.
This is a turning point for the Labour Party, and we all want it to turn in the direction of ordinary working people - and so Jeremy Corbyn. Please let the CWU show the courage of their conviction in a way that the treachorous Parliamentary Labour Party so woefully has not.

Could I also urge anyone who hasn't yet, to show their support for Jeremy Corbyn here - there are currently 220,000 signatories, and every little helps.

Shame on Alan Johnston former CWU joint General Secretary for his point scoring against Jeremy. Its not Jeremys fault that Alan was crap at campaigning to keep us in the EU

There's more chance of a donkey winning the derby than there is him leading the Labour party in government. The electorate don't take to him. He is a liability like Michael Foot was. A good socialist but never a prime minister.

There's no chance of a Labour government for the foreseeable, so what does it matter that some bearded pseudo-commie scruffy idiot is in charge?
He was just the best of the four (extremely poor) candidates last year, but charisma and ability...SFA.
Just when the UK needs a strong opposition the Labour Party elects this piece of wossname.

He would have told Benn to tell corbyn that he had no confidence in him, forcing corbyn to sack him from the shadow cabinet causing a spiral effect, in the hope of forcing corbyn out

I like JC, he's not an eejit or a commie or any of the other shite thrown at him by morons , he's a genuine guy with genuine principles but he's not a leader anyone will follow and for that reason he should stand down. Yes it's the blairite nutters pulling the strings but it doesn't really matter and we can't keep him around purely on the basis that he pissed them off. (Politically) dead man walking.

Most people in a whole generation have never known a real Labour Party

Yep, the same old tosh that used to be said about that other educated fool, Michael Foot.
I'm sure they would have been both great blokes to have a pint and a chat with, but they're supposed to be party leaders not cosy intellectual debaters (although to be fair, Corbyn talks the talk but he's no intellectual) and leave the average voter cold.
What's the point of a party leader who has no voter appeal? How many decades to labour want to spend in opposition?
The tw*t hasn't even got the sense to cut back that triffid outside his front door...

If you don't accept this basic premise you'll never umderstand why guys like JC will never be prime minister, the voting public are generally centre-right, your social circle isn't, don't confuse the two.

Voting to leave the European union was not a vote for change, it was a vote to stop the changes that people felt were being imposed on their lives by Europe.
That's pretty basic stuff jetblack, it backs up the premise, it doesn't undermine it. It's pretty much where the remain campaign lost its focus, they tried to fight fear with more fear.
