On a scale of 1-10 how pissed off should I be?

So first of all sorry for the secret code but I want to try to be quite discreet about this so I won't be using actual names or locations :chuckle

basically I got a Saturday job in office A a couple of years ago, my first day I'm told I'm not needed and I will be working in office B fast forward a year and they have a few full time vacancies and I am told 1 of them has my name on as soon as they're allowed to give out the hours (albeit as a part time 30ish hour deal)...around 6 months later 2 new Saturday AG's are taken on at office B all of a sudden I hardly get to work in office B and i'm shipped off around the area, during this time office A has a few Saturday Ag's quit so they decided to start having me go in there and since then (around another 6 months) I have been in office B only once or twice, last week I was in office B and the union rep told me he was talking to the area manager about making me and 2 others up... after over a year of having this carrot dangled in front of me I finally thought I was about to get a proper job...

Today I spoke to one of the Saturday Ag's from Office B and he said next week he is starting his 32 hour contract as is the other Saturday AG

I have been told or offered nothing and feel like i've had a right kick in the teeth as I have been working for the company for longer surely I should have some form of seniority?

Worst thing is 2 weeks ago I was asked by office A if I wanted to go up to 32 hours there which I was over the moon with, the next day it went from 32 to 20 something, I asked today and I'm told it probably won't happen

Would love to know what I have done to get screwed around with so much :arrrghhh

Or am I wrong in feeling so aggrieved?

Yes you should be aggrieved. You should get a grievance form in straight away with all these details of what was told to you over the years etc. You should be offered the opportunity first as far as I'm aware. You have proven to be good enough at the job (as they haven't let you go yet) so no question you are first in line.

You are employed and in the budget of office A, any vacancies in office B should be offered internally in office B prior to accepting in transfers from any office ie office A regardless of what has been promised to you that's what has been agreed nationwide, you could work one day a week in office B C D E and F it doesn't matter you are a office A employee all the employees in those other offices are entitled to the vacancies before you

This is what I was afraid of...Don't understand why when the 2 new Ag's were hired they didn't go to office A (the office who actually needed them) and my contract moved to office B

Must have pissed the Dom off at some point in time...probably because I do the job properly
