AGM venue

Have just discovered that the venue for the Royal Mail AGM is Edinburgh. Logic and logistics thrown out the window on this one? Absolutely crazy that it is to be held so far north. Surely given that we employ so many thousands of people the length and breadth of the country, and now being privatised with nearly the whole workforce as shareholders, the sensible location would have been in the Midlands eg Birmingham so as to give a greater opportunity for more employees to attend. Or is it the case of the RM Board wanting the meeting in a far flung corner of the UK so as to discourage a large support of hardline pro union members from being there???

There's a pattern emerging.

2014 Birmingham (England), 2015 Cardiff (Wales), 2016 Edinburgh (Scotland)

so I'll bet a pound to a penny that it'll be 2017 Belfast ( Northern Ireland )

thanks Lounge Lizard, was not aware of the previous locations, I did think that maybe there was a rotation system. 2 schools of thought on this I suppose
