as far as i am aware

fitting of the devices(known as telemetry) has been agreed nationaly with the C.W.U.
the devices provide information as to the vehicles whereabouts, its speed, excess acceleration and harsh braking.
there is not yet an enabling agreement to cover all the people issues around how the systems can be used although it does get a mention in the profesional drivers agreement in referance to drivers quarterly reviews, i think.
currently there is no agreement to switch on the equipment.
this kind of system has been in use in logistics/networks for some time

this system can also tell them if you nip home as they can flag your address and it will alert them if you go to your home address.....so they don't need to be watching you to know if you go home.............. get you reasons ready before this comes into being

yes i had a tracker installed in the van for my delivery last week......... no more stopping at Mrs Jones house for a cuppa :chuckle
