I remember a few years back the wayforward agreement getting everyones passions up, as has the current pay deal. We all know how bad the way forward deal was. The way forward deal was kicked out on the first vote then on a second vote of members it was strangely voted in. At the time many of us though the vote was rigged, and i fear the same may happen again. A NO vote is a must, if the CWU and Royal Mail get away with this then they will consider everything is up for grabs in future. The fact of the matter is Ward & Hayes do not do our job, do not get our level of wages, so what they agree to has little impact on them. Maybe us, the paying members of the CWU should change the unions pension scheme, i wonder how Messers Hayes And Ward would think of that!
