Overtime not being paid out
As subject says overtime isn't getting paid out on a regular basis now, repeatedly moan at management but they don't want to know.
Claimed 1hr 20 min last week and only got paid 1 hr 5, I know 15 mins isn't alot but I'm not the only one and its happens on a regular basis.
Dread to think how much money they save by not paying out the overtime

Re: Overtime not being paid out
Stop doing overtime then.
They have missed OT for me before and because I do zero OT until it's all settled it usually gets sorted ASAP.
They only get away with it if you let them.

Don't realise we don't get paid until the following week, they won't let you cut off or claim overtime, what are you suppose to do !

Re: Overtime not being paid out
The only solution is to simply not work any more overtime. You can use the cut off procedure if you think you will go over, but you must use it by the book - and have a witness with you when you do it. As long as you follow it to the letter they can't sack you for wilful delay. If you feel you are being bullied let your rep know, and if it continues put in a grievance.
Overtime is optional, not compulsory.
Managers are lying scum and will try every trick in the book to get you to work for free as it's an easy way out for them.

Re: Overtime not being paid out
Put a grievance form in first, saying your O/T totals are being `adjusted downwards` by your manager so you are no longer prepared to do O/T. If they then have a go at you for leaving mail you can put in a stage 2 grievance (straight away) because they havent sorted the problem out.

Absolutely right. Book every minute. I had to mention it to my partner today when I noticed that he'd rounded down the OT to the nearest 10 min. I was amazed, I book every minute (and I get it paid, or else!!
lol),

Have you checked the pay schedule in the "Christmas and New Year Arrangements" LTB in the Union Area - it may be that its going to be later. Better to have full information than going off halfcocked, thats a managerial trait and you don't want give them an inch if you can.
