Time frame on Stage one attendance

I know there have been a million threads on this but I can't remember the answer.

A colleague of mine has triggered a stage one attendance review back on the 4th November. Still yet to have any sort of a meeting. Is there a timeframe for a meeting to be held?

He/she's a bit worried but I've assured them there is nothing to worry about

No time line written in stone, but it should be a reasonable amount.

When you say ''nothing to worry about'' don't forget the conduct code and attendance procedure can and will be used by royal mail to dismiss employees whenever it suits. If someone 'triggers' a stage one the first question on the rep's list should be .. 'If you are so concerned for my member's welfare, let's stick to the the procedure and go down the 'informal' route before considering stage one's''. If he says 'no' get a grievance in double-quick!
