After being deducted 4 days pay for the strike action a couple of weeks ago, i emailed adam crosier to ask why i had been deducted 4 days pay when i work a week in arrears,i got an email back from a charles weston who wrote to me on behalf of tom melvin operations director of royal mail letters,he wrote " i can confirm that you are not paid in arrears but are in fact paid week to week and royal mail are entitled to take 4 days pay off you".
But i have my original contract here at home that states that i am paid in arrears,so i need some advice about what i should do,if royal mail want to pay me week to week can i ring wages up and claim a weeks backpay because im paid in arrears??and also how many others here are paid in arrears?
