Hello,
During the week of the bank holiday at the end of August, my day off fell on a Thursday which I worked. I have been told by all my managers that I would get paid for bank holiday Monday (5 hour a day contract). After receiving my payslip on Friday it appears I have been underpaid by 5 hours. I left my payslip with the payroll 'inputter' at work and there is a note on my payslip saying 'day off Thursday, not Monday'.
How do I proceed with this? I worked over 60 hours and keep a record of anything I book (PT-FT, excess) in my diary for exactly this reason.
Many thanks.

See the manager who said you'd be paid for Monday

Seems like a straightforward case of not being paid for working your day off. Did you fill the docket sheet in?DocketLefty wrote:Hello,

Hi - Thanks guys but it was my mistake... I counted the 5 hours for the bank holiday on top of my contracted hours for the week for some reason.
