Hi guys... Hope I'm posting in the right forum!!
Basically I was on annual leave for a week then went straight into being sick for another week by ringing up on the Monday and my manager seems to think I need a doctors certificate when I come back even though I was only sick for a week so I should be self certified right,am I missing something or is he a bit confused??
Thanks in advance guys.

Yeah you're right, you only need a doctors note if you go sick over 7 days.

Re: Annual leave into sickness!!
When did you actually become unwell? was it during your holiday or on the first day you were due back?

pity as if it was during the annual leave I would have said to go and get a line from the doc and then hand that to the dom and watch his face when you said you would need that holiday time creditted back as you are allowed to claim back annual leave if you become unwell during it
