yes we would be 35.8% below the necessary turn out required.

However, all CWU Strikes I have been on since I started all would have passed the proposed threshold.

Were I a leader in union circles I'd be extremely concerned that there was such a very low turnout in the elections. It's as though members, in falling numbers already, are not in the least interested in union affairs. In view of the clear and present danger of Tory tactics against unions I'd be worried that further legislation would make trade unionism a thing of the past.

Well one of these turkeys turned up at our gaff and he came at 9.30 when the stampede to get out and do the lapsing was at it's height ,his campaign team then photographed him talking to the cleaner as if he was down with the posties,no wonder he lost!
