I instigated a grievance against my line manager, didn't hear anything for a few weeks then was asked into the office. When I realised what was happening I got my union rep involved as well.
At the meeting were myself, my Union rep and the manager I had the grievance against. The manager I put the grievance in against was conducting the meeting.
Two questions:
1. Should he have been conducting the grievance meeting about himself?
2. Should I have a copy of notes from the meeting?
Obviously I didn't agree with the outcome so have proceeded to the next stage. Any advice or guidance on the grievance procedure would be appreciated.
