revision / re sign

hi , thought i saw somewhere or maybe i didnt that if under an office revision if there is no change to a duty it doesnt have to go in the re sign pot . Could someone tell me if this is correct or not please ? many thanks in advance.

You are correct - but it means NO significant Change - the actuall duty content may not have changed as in the addresses you deliver to, but changes in start and finish times, method of delivery etc may well be considered as a change an mean the duty holder can't opt out.

We have had a desk top revision in our office, 2 jobs have been lapsed into the remaining duties, every job as been effected, and the union rep is saying it dosent trigger a repick, should it or not??? Thanx in advance

You say "lapsed" which is not permanent so no a resign would not be required. If the 2 duties have been removed forever and the ensuring reallocation of streets affected all rounds then I would say yes.

Sorry when I said lapsed I meant they had been absorbed into the remaining duties, the 2 jobs have gone completely and our fittings are being altered to have the streets weve been given put on.

That as I understand it means its a major change so would normally trigger a repick.

Thanks I thought it did, but the union rep is saying it dosent as it is just a desk top revision, what is the best way to get the repick started as the rep is saying no way because it would be too much hassle, with half the office being 1 in 6 and the other half being a rolling day off

Get your area rep involved,but be careful,as some go with their reps regardless.
