I am expecting to see billy and dave standing outside C.W.U. HQ later today holding the wee white paper declaring peace with R.M. I seem to remember something like this happening in the past with another dictatorship.
As history has informed us all that was a big mistake by the then leader of our nation, alas, i think this is ground hog day. As our forefathers found out, they had to pay a heavy price to that folly and i think we have been put in the same suitation once again. ARE OUR LEADERS ASKING US TO FALL ON THE SWORD, WAS THE VOTE TO ACCEPT UNANIMOUS, IF NOT HOW MANY VOTED AGAINST.
WILL THEY HAVE THE BALLS TO COME CLEAN AND TELL US WHO VOTED TO ACCEPT. I hope the membership take all of the agreement on board, think about what a yes vote will mean to us all, AND REJECT THE PROPOSED DEAL.
REMEMBER WE ARE THE C.W.U. NOT JUST TWO PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO HAVE ANOTHER AGENDA, OR THE PUPPETS WHO WILL LIKE THE POOR TURKEY VOTE FOR CHRISTMAS.

Unanimous vote
The vote will be unanimous - cos no matter what the actual vote was they will have then put forward another vote as a technicality so that it would be unanimous. Meant to show a United Front but the two at the top of this union appear to be bigger bottlers than Brown and don't know the meaning of United Front with their membership and the wider trade union movement - they think it means cozying up to the Labour Party who are, in effect, our bosses.
Well I'm definitely out of the levy this time and I don't need to wait and see the deal to have taken that decision - Our leadership have displayed LOMF - lack of more fibre or more simply - COWARDICE IN THE FACE OF THE ENEMY.
