I hope i speak for more than me but what the f*ck are the union up to 1 week ago our union leaders released a statement with royal mail that anagreementwas reeched now a week on what have we got?
A silent website that says we will update on the 19th
and bn treat by the union how royal mail management treat us
so if anyone disagrees please reply but at the mo am 100% behind the strike but just feel let down by people

There has been a terrible lack of info coming back to us 'foot-soldiers' & I agree that it would appearr as if the PEC are 'dragging their feet'! However .. please try & remember that this 'War' .. is not only about pay .. working conditions .. pensions etc x 22! It is also not only about the ineffectual & overpaid retards who want to treat us like bullied & harassed .. frightened muppets! There has been an 'all-out' attempt to completely smash .. the CWU .. our Union. If they succeed with us .. one of the largest Unions in the land .. then all other Unions will be 'picked off' one by one. I would rather the PEC took their time standing up the criminal idiots who are attempting to ruin .. what was the finest postal system in te world .. than to rush through & agree with .. something like 'The Way Forward! That agreement that we were conned into had so many holes & ambiguities in it .. that a politicians head .. would pass through it! Please give our leaders the chance to prove that they are fighting for us .. as best they can! With me .. pray that they know what they are doing & that the war will be won! Keep the faith .. old son. Afterwards .. there is not a rep in the land .. who will not clamour for an explanation as to why .. we were not kept .. better informed. Pray to your God .. & pass the ammunition.

What matters is getting the right deal that will make us all happy & ready to throw our weight behind RM and make it stronger again.
If AL/AC pursue the crap deal and stall until the backlog is clear then all it means is more strikes & more pressure on them above because Xmas is not far away. We will always hold the strong hand until the USO is scrapped or until one of the so called competition gets a backbone and fights us on a level playing field instead of hiding behind postcon.

No, we don't want them to remove the USO. That would be desaterous. The same goes for Zonal Pricing.

What we REALLY need, is for the USO to be imposed on ALL of our competitors. Wether they achieve that through their own network (yeh, like they really have any chance of doing that! ) or through Downstream Access is irrelevant. BUT THE USO MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Why should people in Rural Areas be penalised, because of where they live?
EVERYONE should be able to send and recieve mail for the same price, and to the same standard REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY LIVE!!!!!
