Deal rejected!

Post by jalor_uk »

I went back to work to do my s/a this afternoon and everyone was talking about the union reps having told them that the deal is off. The rep wants to discuss the way we are going to go forwards regarding strikes. :evil/mad :evil/mad
Have we been played like fools again while the backlog is improved. If royal mail keep adding clauses at the last minute we should inform the press so the public do not think it is the greedy old postman not happy with a nearly 7% rise.

When we go back on strike it should last until the deal is signed because they have at least 7 days now to prepare for the next one.

Prepare ? ....... Who , Royal Mail ? ................. The next round of strikes, and strikes long into the future, will have the same end result, stressed
managers wondering when it will come to an end, and mail mounting up and making quite a nice backlog. We could give feckers like Leighton &
Crozier two whole months notice of Industrial Action, it would still ultimately mean, 0 postal workers = NO postal service. :cuppa

NOo im sorry i dont agree when you say strikes long into the future, we go out till we get an agreement, be it a week, or two weeks, we ve all lost at least 8 days pay, had we walked out originally, i bet we wouldnt have been out 8 days(16 for the scouscers) lets not play the game with these c*nts, tough i know but we have to make this stand!!!! We will not be bullied, harrased and just generally hassled by these brain dead morons(that includes the government) any more!!! we can roll over and definatley die or WE can stand and fight and in my opionion definatley win!!!! :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause

we have all lost a lot of money with the inept striking stratergy, we should have gone out in sept till the deal was signed sealed and delivered, the managment were flawless in their stratergy of reducing the effect of the back log on the customer, which has seen our profile going from the good guy to the gready, workshy layabout. Lets hope this third time round the union negotiators can earn the respect of the members.
normal over paid, lazy, cheating, skiving postman(cheers croz you over paid then comes the bonus mother of all liers, hope you get sqaushed by an overwieght bag)
