My apologies if this has been covered before but I have looked through the threads and cannot seem to find any information. Well I had a hospital appointment. Left work 2 hours before my finishing time. My manager then informed me that I owe them that time back. I thought they couldn't do that? Or can I say dock my wages 2 hours?
Thank you

ok was just checking he didnt agree to let you go without working back the hours and then changed his mind after the fact, darren d wrote:Nothing was agreed zx135. unfortunately in that case he can ask you to work the hours back or you could ask him to dock your wages for those hours, unless the appointment was for an injury or illness covered under the equalities act which may have constituted as a reasonable adjustment then may be able to insist on it being paid
