Dear Colleague

Way Forward Annual Leave Allocation & Deployment Agreement (2001)

Branches and representatives will be aware of the publication of LTB 691/14 dated 4th November 2014, issued by Bob Gibson, Assistant Secretary Outdoor.

To ensure no misunderstanding develops we wish to clarify that the terms of the Annual Leave Allocation & Deployment Agreement (2001) continues to hold the field in respect of those offices/functions not covered by the terms of the aforementioned resourcing guidelines that were circulated via LTB 691/14.

Royal Mail has indicated that they wish to discuss with the CWU the issue of annual leave allocation etc in respect of the other functions, i.e. Mail Centre, Area Distribution, Network etc at some stage. However, until those discussions have taken place and have been concluded to the mutual satisfaction of both parties the current Annual Leave Allocation and Deployment Agreement remains in place.

In order to assist representatives and for your ease of reference a copy of the Way Forward Agreement can be located in the Postal agreements section of the CWU website.

Any enquiries in relation to this LTB should be addressed to Terry Pullinger, Assistant Secretary, e-mail: dwyatt@cwu.org or shayman@cwu.org quoting reference number 203.01 & 703.01.

Yours sincerely

Terry Pullinger
Assistant Secretary
