Reasonable adjustment
Does anyone know if rm can make me take a different round claiming its a reasonable adjustment ? Even when there's only one other bloke stupid enough to 'give' them time that does the duty in its time?

Re: Reasonable adjustment
Reasonable adjustment is done to a duty when a OPG has a disability etc

Re: Reasonable adjustment
If you have a signed duty and RM remove you from your signed duty to another by reason of you are unable to complete this round in duty time and have consistent cut offs due to volumes of mail/packets/specials then this is nota reasonable adjustment as there are other alternatives to consider before your removal such as having your round tested. There may be on certain days of the week that this round is impossible to complete on duty time and this should be assessed by RM and CWU representative.Jomum wrote:Does anyone know if rm can make me take a different round claiming its a reasonable adjustment ? If you are a reserve/ floater then you would have no recourse should RM decide to remove you to another duty on the pretence of reasonable adjustment and as continually mentioned on this site work within your starting and finishing times and following all correct procedures in cutting off and notifying then you can't go wrong.
You did not mention what type of contract you have with RM?

Re: Reasonable adjustment
The reasonable adjustments will depend on the Atos report and the discussion between you, your rep and manager. It may be that the duty you are on now is considered unsuitable but there will have to be a genuine reason behind that which will form part of the report.
If there is a genuine and justifiable reason then yes, they can take you off "your" duty although I will point out to there is no such thing as "your" duty.
