TAX REBATE FOR WASHING UNIFORM

Post by flyingsam »

Is it possible to claim back tax relief on washing uniform and also claiming relief for boot polish and waterproof dubbing for boots. Has anyone had a result and actually got money back from the taxman and had their tax code changed to cover this in the future. If yes yes what is best website to start a claim.

Yes. I get about a £90 rebate every year for it. You should contact Inland Revenue and ask about it.

sadly its a no.
i pondered the same question so i wrote a letter to the tax office a few months back about claiming money back for washing uniform etc
the response letter i got from the tax office stated as of 2010 it is incoperated into yout tax code and claiming money back you were due before 2010 could not be claimed for some reason the tax office decided to make up. :Boo hoo!
hope this helps...
