Is there a national agreement as regards to union rep's facility time? or is it done on a local level?

I think it's an hour a week, should be built into your duty at the planning stage

yes if you look under the ir framework procedure it will tell you what you are intitled to reguarding union facility time

I believe it is done at local level.
Obviously the size of the office will determine the amount of time you need.
Having a predetermined amount of time is just silly, in my opinion.
If you've got 3 attendance procedures and 2 conduct cases to deal with one week, you will need more time than if you've only got one of each.

A rep who can't even manage to negotiate his own facility time, isn't going to be able to negotiate very much at all.

I have 12 hours a week all negotiated as part of our revision, will all these new initiatives from up high it's not enough.
Collection reviews ,weekly and daily resourcing,conduct and attendance cases not forgetting running the office for our useless Dom and his line managers
