Trade Union Group of Labour Members of Parliament New Website



The Trade Union Group is carrying out a digital re-launch and as part of this re-launch they have made a public commitment to key values, in the form of a Charter.



The Charter is a statement of their beliefs and ultimately underlines the importance of bridging the gap between MPs and working people.

The TUG pledges to follow these objectives:

Ensuring that the voice of trade unionists is heard loud and clear in Parliament
Defending the rights of TUC affiliated trade unions and their members
Achieving common goals for trade unionists and Labour Party Members
Maintaining strong commitments to equality and diversity
Working to boost both trade union and Labour Party Membership
Supporting workers in struggle
