Door 2 Door failure?

Just been chatting with one of my close friends who works at another delivery office, apparently somebody has found hidden in the office the last 6 weeks d2d's for the same delivery, these were found very close to the delivery frame hidden behind the storage unit. What, if anything will happen to the delivery officer if found guilty of this?

and an appearance before M'Lord - failing to deliver D2Ds is considered delay of mail which is a crime.

He also admitted delaying 1,150 unaddressed door-to-door postal packets in 2013, which were recovered from a delivery frame

madness, in our office the manager asks every Friday if we have completed the weeks d2d's any leftovers get taken away and counted, in my friends office where these d2d's were discovered, it was something to do with the cleaners yesterday and a manager standing in the right or wrong place at the time. I should find out more next week.

I don't think they will get jail time as they haven't even taken them out of the office,the sack yes but not jail time.Also some embarrassing questions should be asked as to how they could remain unnoticed for 6 weeks.

The managers are paid to manage.
A manager who cannot even manage the D2D in a unit shouldn't be in that position.

But unfortunately that isn't the case, most managers just repeat parrot fashion what comes down from up above, a large proportion of RM managers aren't there because of there management skills, they are there because they were useless at everything else. Getting rid of mangers because they could not manage, would leave Rm with a serious lack of managers, instead of the glut they have now.
