shift change help please!

Due to my lack of seniority I am being asked to move from my current night shift at Stockport mdec to a late shift which would mean an increase in my current half hour journey time each way to a four and a half hour public transport journey in total. Is this a reasonable request or do I have room for an appeal..? Any help would be gratefully received!

Ask your rep but I think if it is your duty ie you sign the same one evry week you can stay put
