Returning from having time away to raise

I've a friend who is returning from having time away to raise her first child. The duty she used to do is no longer any good for her because of the total hours and times. The DOM isn't being very accommodating. In fact he appears to be most awkward for no real reason and reluctant to give her any hours to return on. I'll point out we have seven vancancies at the moment, so should the DOM try to help her return?

I don't know but would have thought your dom should try and do all he can to assist her, especially with your office having so many vacancies but then I do not know how many staff you have.
