Hi i have been sick for 4 weeks i have spoken to ho assist old atos they have sed i am not fit for any work but now work have asked me to go in for a face to face is this the norm ? i no they prob try and get me back in to work

Yes your Manager is supposed to make arrangements if at all possible for a face to face 28 day review. This review is focused on supporting you in returning to work as soon as possible, usually by arranging an OH referral. You have however already had that referral and have been passed as not fit for any work.

My suggestion is that you politely decline the meeting, stating that you will be unable to comfortably attend. If you can attend the office for your meeting your Manager will assume you can attend it for other reasons and will disregard the OH advice and attempt to find work for you.

Explain that the Company appointed experts, OH Assist have deemed you unable to perform any work at present and that you will be happy to continue discussions with them with regards your prognosis. If things improve however prior to the Week 12 Review you will inform them as soon as possible and arrange an intermediate review discussion.

yer but they was fine with me on my letter from them it says i am not fit for any work and to get the mangers to re asses me in a month but now they asking me to go in for a face to face chat

Being off for 4 weeks is classed a long term sick in RM eyes.
You state that you have spoken to OH Assist then this would have been on a referral from your manager to which you would have given your consent.
If as you mention that OH Assist have said that you are not fit for any work and that is their recommendation then your manager would have received a copy of the report to this effect.
OH Assist being RM appointed occupational health provider then cannot see how they can disregard their advice and therefore a face to face interview with your manager is unnecessary and you refer him/her to the OH Assist report.
If your GP sick note has ticked the relevant box that you are unfit to work it is part of RM sick pay policy that RM reserves the right to pay sick if the employee has neglected the instructions from their doctor.
