rescinding working time directive opt out

Just did it today

Had enough of mental long shifts(even taking all the breaks)

Do royal mail management get any hr training at all?

Seems a few of us know more about legislation etc than our boss

Sneaky chaps collared me when I just started and got me to sign it

I'm more carefull now

Anyone out there not happy with being expected and leaned on for overtime when you don't want it

1.cut off using correct procedure
2.rescind your opt out if you signed it.

its not that long ago that royal mail were trying to get away from running the business on overtime thats why overtime rate drops after 10 hours to discourage people from doing it now it seems its about turn and more and more overtime up for grabs

Seems to be loads on offer at ours

But they keep folk on 20/25 hour contracts?

WRONG ot does,nt drop after 10hrs anymore it changed in line with new agreement.
