Sick leave question

Can anyone give me any link to Royal Mails sick procedure when people are in hospital having an operation.

There isn't one for such a specific matter, it all falls under the same procedure. The nature of the operation and the reason for it may have a bearing on stages though.

If it is remedial and helps your attendance and ability to do your job it will not or should not count on your sick record.
