On a 7 day self certificated break to adjust to new meds which I'm on due to anxiety caused by a RM employee(manager)

Have I lost a weeks wages?

In union

Not had a chance to check with rep yet.

7th day you need a fit note from the Drs.

Pay - as you've done 12 months service you will now get paid when off sick, unless you breach the conditions of your contract or the Manager acts the arse.

As you're off with stress have you had your ATOS/OH Assist referral yet?

I was part absence Friday
So If fit I'll be reporting "fit with possible adjustments required" Fri/sat

If not I'll call the doc on Wednesday

My immediate manager is trying his best

But the Dom is possibly out of touch with current legislation etc

Any who,got three counselling sessions lined up and on beta blockers to help manage the symptoms.

Obviously I'm not going to slag the manager off on here

But what he said was unbelievable

For what it's worth. Although having said that, even they recognise what an appallingly bad employer we work for.

But in this company it seems to be endemic

Hopefully its just our office that's this bad
