New contract
Hi I asked this question in ble shirts but got no help, wondering if you guys could help me. I had a new contract turn up this week and it says LONG TERM CONTRACT. But this seems vague ? As no mention of permanent or no termination date either ?

Long term is permanent, my contract had long term on it I was there 17 yrs and left because I moved home. I don't think you will find anyone with a permanent contract, just long term which is open ended.If you are still worried phone HR numbers on back of wage slip.

Yes. I've been on a long term contract (LTPT) for 15 years. It's as permanent as you can get.
I doubt any employers would use the term 'permanent' on a contract.
