CWU Trained Hosts for Joint Training Programme

Branches would be aware that in line with the initiatives agreed in Agenda for Growth national agreement to support the cultural change, CWU and Royal Mail are working on a joint training programme ‘Together for Growth’ (TFG). A letter to Branches (LTB 266/14) was issued from the department on Monday 28 April 2014 to provide update to our branches.

TFG is a three days joint training programme designed for 9000 frontline managers and CWU representatives to attend with their local interface.

TFG training programme is nearing to its rollout stage which is planned to commence in the middle of June. In order to ensure a smooth rollout; the CWU and Royal Mail are committed to align a number of ‘Trained training hosts’, from all areas of the country to help facilitate the training programme in line with our jointly intended objectives.

The Job Descriptions of ‘trained host’ is attached.

Branches are instructed to encourage suitable individuals to take part in this crucial role and forward their names to DGSP department by 21 May 2014.
