does anyone know what sort of lump sum if I take an evr at 56. I have over 35 years service
I believe when I take my pension I will lose 190% of the pension
I am 56 in may
we have evrs being offered in Birmingham

You'll get 3 different offers:
1. normal pension and enhanced lump sum
2. enhanced pension but no lump sum
3. reduced pension and enhance lump sum
There will also be a small compensatory payment attached to each of these but I can't remember how it''s worked out. You need to look at the MTSF and BT2010 agreements for the calculations.

You will be offered 41,000 ish for evr, this amount is capped I believe, so any service after 25 yrs is not counted

190% ?? thats wrong. its about 50%, but you dont lose anything in the long term. you will be getting you're pension 9 years early, so the money you recieve each month for those 9 years makes up for what you initially forfeit.
